Shred (work in progress) typeface design

These days everyone is paranoid about people going through their rubbish, finding some documents, and making off with their identity or money.

I was thinking about how much type ends up getting hurt and dismembered in shredders. A once happy letterform gets cut into bits to protect someones identity. Poor little letterforms.

To stop innocent letterforms being hurt I thought it would be a good idea to create a tough typeface that doesn't mind being shredded. The characters of 'Shred' don't mind being cut into bits because they already have been. They have nothing to lose!


Below is my first loose thought about the idea, For some reason I decided that the 'E' and 'I' weren't needed!
